Every Wednesday, for four weeks, Year 5 students are participating in a careers through reading program with students from Newcastle University. 

The program involves University students reading to small groups of primary school children books that are related to the Key Learning Areas the students are studying. This allows both Uni and school students to share their current experiences of education and aspiration to eventual professions in a friendly and non-threatening space.
