Easter Hat Parade!

Last Thursday, we did our annual Easter Hat Parade! A massive thank you to all the students and parents who brought in Easter egg donations! Our raffle was a massive success.

A huge well done to all students who made some amazing and very creative hats to show off in our fabulous parade.

Harmony Day.

Today we celebrated Harmony Day. A massive thank you goes to Miss Armstrong, Miss Hibbert and Jane Lander for all the hard work you put in to ensure the day was a success.

5/6D spent the day making a massive mandala (out of bottle tops), helping their buddies make worry dolls and completing Totems with Years 1-4 to make Totem poles for our school.

Check out how much fun we had!

Athletics Carnival!

Last week was our Athletics Carnival. A massive thank you to Mr Slade for organising and to all our parent helpers. Well done to all students who tried their very best despite the horrible weather! Take a look at some of our photos!

Experimenting with yeast.

This term, 5/6D has been learning about Micro organisms. Last week, in science, we did an experiment to see what happens when yeast (used in bread making) is mixed with sugar and water.   Yeast is a micro organism that requires food and the right temperature to grow. In groups of five or six, students used water bottles and different measures of yeast, sugar and water to see what happens when the mixtures are left over night.

Here are some photos from our Experiment.
